Soham for Kids

Mission: The name “Soham” in Sanskrit translates to “I Am That,” symbolizing our belief in being one with the world. We recognize our responsibility to improve the world around us. The mission of Soham for Kids is to provide underprivileged and orphaned children with quality education, equipping them with the skills necessary to support themselves and their families, thereby breaking the cycle of poverty.

Approach: Soham for Kids adopts a holistic approach to child development by offering:

• Healthcare: Access to essential medical services.
• Nutrition: Provision of two balanced meals a day.
• Education: A modern curriculum that replaces traditional rote learning with experiential techniques, supplemented by extracurricular activities such as music, dance, art, and physical education.

Currently, Soham for Kids supports over 150 children in receiving semi-English medium education in India. Additionally, the organization addresses the challenges faced by the parents and guardians of these children by offering vocational classes for adults after school, enabling them to develop skills and earn income to support their families.

Arpan Education

Commitment: The promoters of the group are deeply committed to the education and development of children in New Delhi. Arpan believes that the future of individuals, communities, and nations lies in education.

History: Established on January 9, 2006, Arpan aims to support underprivileged children by enhancing the school system to help them cope with their academic challenges. The goal is to ensure that education leads to meaningful change—not just in knowledge acquisition but also in developing the skills, habits, and attitudes that characterize socially accepted and adjusted individuals.

Meena Seth Charitable Clinic

Overview: Located in the Naraina Industrial Area, one of the most densely populated regions of New Delhi, the Meena Seth Charitable Clinic was founded in 1983 by Group Chairman Deepak Seth. The clinic provides free medical care to impoverished individuals in the area.

Services: The clinic offers:

• Free consultations and treatment.
• Homeopathic medicines to the poorest members of the community.
